This Mishimoto Silicone Radiator Hose Kit is constructed from five-layers of silicone with heat resistant embedded fibers. This combination of materials provides substantially improved heat and pressure tolerance compared to the stock rubber hoses. Rounding out this Essentials Bundle is the Mishimoto Racing thermostat. The Mishimoto thermostat has a lower activation temperature (160F) compared to the factory thermostat (190F). The lower activation temperature allows coolant to flow through the engine earlier, reducing the risk of overheating in hot environments.
