Conversion Engine Mount Kit for the 1988-1991 Honda Prelude (BA)
Designed to fit the Prelude BA chassis when performing H22 engine conversions with manual transmission.
NOTE:
Extra steps are necessary for those with the earlier 88-89 models.
Prelude owners with the earlier chassis will need to acquire the driver-side frame bracket from the 90-91 Prelude and bolt it onto the frame rail. In contrast to most Honda and Honda frame rail pocket mounts, this isn't a welded piece, so it can easily be bolted into place. Once the new bracket is in position, the new place racing engine mount can be attached to the body.
NOTE:
The rear engine bracket of choice comes from the 92-96 Prelude with manual transmission.
NOTE:
Although it is highly recommended to purchase our custom Axles to perform this swap, you may find this axle combination to work(use at your own risk):

It is strongly recommended that all installs be done by a mechanic or automotive specialist.
Mounts CAN NOT be returned or swapped out after they have been bolted down (revealing bolt impressions).
PLEASE MAKE SURE THIS KIT FITS YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE BOLTING THEM IN PLACE.
NOTE:

Although Innovative's bushings are made to absorb engine vibration, you may still notice slight vibration depending on your engine's series and HP. Innovative Mounts removes the dampening oil containers harbored by OEM/Stock mounts. By switching to stiffer mounts without the fluid reduces wheel hop and increases driving response.
