Now, we’re bringing back our industry-leading design, refined and reengineered for even greater performance and reliability.
The latest version stays true to its winning formula while introducing key improvements. The new RBC Throttle Body is a direct bolt on for the RBC/RB/RRB intake manifolds. However, this throttle body is only designed for Drive By Cable, so it will not fit the donor cars that many of those manifolds come from. We’ve rotated the IACV port to improve clearance between the radiator and wiring connector, ensuring a cleaner, more efficient installation. The TPS mount now mirrors the OEM Honda design, guaranteeing precise throttle position sensor calibration for seamless integration with your engine management system.
Engineered for Maximum Airflow & Fitment
Precision-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium, this throttle body is built for the RBC, RRB, and RBB bolt patterns. By designing it specifically for these intake manifolds, we’ve eliminated the constraints of the PRB bolt pattern, allowing us to open up the inlet to a full 75mm. Whether you’re running a naturally aspirated or forced induction setup, this throttle body delivers the airflow your engine needs. It’s also designed to work perfectly with 3-inch couplers, ensuring a secure and optimized intake path.
Built for Durability & Smooth Operation
Reliability is at the core of our design. Each throttle body features staked butterfly bolts to prevent loosening over time, a crucial upgrade for long-term durability. To further enhance performance, we’ve included a custom-fit thermal insulation gasket that reduces heat transfer from the intake manifold, keeping temperatures in check for consistent throttle response. Inside, double-sealed roller ball bearings ensure a smooth, precise throttle operation without the risk of sticking.
Refined Throttle Cable Bracket & Adjustability
We didn’t stop at just refining the throttle body—our throttle cable bracket has also been improved for better fitment and longevity. Bent and welded from high-strength steel, we’ve zinc-plated it to resist corrosion and adjusted the length and angle to improve hood clearance in K-swapped applications. This means an easier install and a cleaner look under the hood.
Versatile Fitment for K-Swapped Builds
Designed with flexibility in mind, the throttle body rotor offers three cable mounting positions, making it compatible with K-swapped EG, EK, DC2, RSX, and EP3 applications. It pairs seamlessly with HYB-TRC-01-05 and HYB-TRC-01-10 throttle cables. To ensure long-term reliability, we’ve also integrated dual stainless-steel throttle return springs—adding an extra layer of safety while eliminating the risk of rust.
Final Touches for Customization & Quality
To suit a range of builds, we’ve included the option to retain or delete the pass-through coolant circulation. And, as a finishing touch, we’ve upgraded the mounting hardware to JIS standards, adding another level of OEM-quality fitment and reliability.
